Henry Lambert is a theatre-maker, performer and co-artistic director of Bric à Brac Theatre.

He co-founded the company in 2014 with fellow graduates of the Ecole Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq. He has been working collaboratively with the company ever since as a performer, deviser and producer. As a theatre company, Bric à Brac create visually bold, collaborative performance. They tell real stories in unexpected, eclectic ways, underpinned by a common language in movement and physicality.

Henry received a grant from ArtHouse Jersey to support a residency project with Bric à Brac on the island in November 2017. During the residency he will continue working with the company to develop Just Lose It!, Bric à Brac’s second project. The project is an absurd, immersive theatre piece that playfully examines the cracks in the weight loss industry. At the end of the residency the company will present a one-off performance of the project in the Jersey Opera House Studio.

Thanks to the support of ArtHouse Jersey, Bric à Brac will be able to complete the creation of Just Lose It!, with a view to a London run of the show in 2018 and a subsequent UK tour. In the long-run, Henry aims to continue working with the company to produce innovative and unusual performance.
