Indie quartet Mozaics hail from Jersey. The band comprise of a Geordie (Christian Silver - vocals/guitars), a Canadian (Chris Nutter - drums/vocals) and two native 'islanders' (Tom Quenault - keys/synth and Craig Farrell - bass/vocals) with some pretty impressive industry accolades, including radio support for the likes of Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, Steve Lamacq, and Jonathan Ross, along with a performance on the 'John Peel' stage at Glastonbury Festival in previous outfits. Since forming in 2015, Mozaics have enjoyed dozens of BBC Introducing plays, with support from BBC Radio’s 1 Huw Stephens, Amazing Radio and Radio X from their self released singles.

Mozaics have developed a unique take on uplifting anthem-indie/trip-hop/electronica, with a naturally eccentric live presence. The band describe their performance as an 'experience', as they expertly craft their set with interludes and embellishments to present a "living and breathing body of work" - this is not just a collection of songs. Mozaics are making pop music with a soul.

Their debut video for self-recorded track 'Do This With Me' features actress Alicia Cortina (US TV show 'Vikings') and rising star Warren Sollars.

ArtHouse Jersey awarded Mozaics a grant which was used to help fund an industry standard music video and promote the single 'Always Want You'. This grant led to recording contract offers for the band, due to the high quality of the work.

'Without this funding, we would not be in the position we find ourselves in today where we have a digital distribution deal which allows us to effectively distribute our music globally without losing any rights as you would in a conventional record deal. The ArtHouse Jersey grant paid for all aspects of the 'Always Want You' video including directors, crew, equipment, travel and location. The immediate impact of the grant was a great looking video and interest from multiple companies and individuals within the music industry. Now looking at longer term, we are in a fantastic position whereby we can release music globally with no cost and gain tens of thousands of views on our work as a direct result of executing a professional looking and sounding release (as a result of ArtHouse Jersey funding).'
